KIDS Regio Berlinale Meeting Point: Audience Thinking – Co-Creation

In cooperation with The Financing Forum for Kids Content Berlinale Meeting Point 2019 focussed on the process of Co-Creation with the young target audience.

9. February 2019 | Venue: The Representation of the Federal Region Thuringia, Berlin

Inspired by the results of the 1st German Conference on the Future of Children’s Film in September 2018 and the ongoing commitment of the KIDS Regio community we have specifically focussed Meeting Point and Opening Industry Day on the engagement of the young target group throughout the whole creational process of media content. To introduce the topic experts were invited to speak about the theoretical background of the steps of co-creation as well as about their practical experiences.

Programme/Speakers:

Stefanie Jansen (The Netherlands), is an independent Co-creator with a passion for the target group kids, youth, and families. Joanne Lee (United Kingdom), is the Seftons Young Advisors team lead. Their aim is to support organisations to enhance the participation of children and young people in their service and to develop innovative ways of involving and engaging young people.
Cerys McNevin (United Kingdom), works as a young advisor at Sefton. Her work is implicitly based around youth participation and co-delivery.

Sara Bozanic& Petra Bertalanic (Slovenia), team up at the Institute for Transmedia Design, a multifaceted creative community involved in international projects that promotes local and international discussion, cultural exchange and education in transmedia design.
