Froukje Tan is a writer and film director of documentaries for children, a documentary series and several short absurdist films. For Dutch Television she made two single-plays. In 2006 she attended the ‘North by Northwest’ script course in Denmark. Froukje graduated from the Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam, having studied animation, film and photography.
