Eva Novrup Redvall is Associate Professor in Film and Media Studies and Head of the Section for Film Studies and Creative Media Industries at the University of Copenhagen. She has published widely on particularly screenwriting and production, e.g. the monograph Writing and Producing Television Drama in Denmark, and co-edited several anthologies on European and Nordic film and television, most recently the open access collection Audiovisual Content for Children and Adolescents in Scandinavia: Production, Distribution, and Reception in a Multiplatform Era (Nordicom, 2023). She is currently PI of the research project Reaching Young Audiences: Serial Fiction and Cross-Media Storyworlds for Children and Young Audiences (funded by Independent Research Fund Denmark). Besides her academic work, she is a film critic for the Danish newspaper Information and serves on the board of The Danish Film Institute.
