Susanne Regina Meures is a German/Swiss filmmaker who gained attention with her debut film RAVING IRAN, which premiered in 2016 and was showing at over 130 film festivals (Berlinale, Hot Docs, IDFA, DocNYC etc) worldwide. RAVING IRAN won numerous awards and went on to be a success in the cinemas. SAUDI RUNAWAY, her second feature length documentary premiered at Sundance Film Festival in 2020. It was followed by its European premiere at the 2020 Berlinale, where the film won the audience award. SAUDI RUNAWAY was nominated for the European Film Award and won the EUFA 2020. GIRL GANG is Sue’s third feature documentary, which has been showing at over 70 festivals worldwide so far, has won several awards, including a nomination for European Film Awards for best Documentary.
