Alise Gelze together with Aija Bērziņa (currently head of Producers Association in Latvia) build the creative team that founded the production studio Tasse Film in February 2011. The two young yet experienced producers have started the production of the studio’s first feature film – ES ESMU ŠEIT (MELLOW MUD), directed by Renārs Vimba; supported by the National Film Centre and the State Culture Capital Foundation. Jānis Nords’ feature THE SURVIVALIST will be the studio’s second feature. The studio’s main focus is on young upcoming filmmakers and production of features, shorts, art projects and commercials. In 2013 Alise was producing the feature Mother I Love You, directed by Jānis Nords, for the production studio Tanka Film. The feature premiered in BERLINALE GENERATION KPLUS in 2013 and received International Jury Prize for The Best Feature. Till now the film has received over 15 international prizes in film festivals all over the world.
