Since 2004, Agnes Augustin has been driving the Shaw Rocket Fund’s ongoing commitment to champion Canadian children’s and youth programming through strategic investments in linear and digital content. Her dedication to increase the profile of the Canadian children’s and youth media industry can be seen through the Fund’s activities and strategic global partnerships. In her role as President and CEO at the Shaw Rocket Fund, she is proud to support the creation of high-quality content for children and their families to enjoy on all platforms in Canada and around the world. Prior to assuming her position at the Shaw Rocket Fund, Agnes held senior management positions in business affairs with a number of production and distribution companies, starting her career as a Financial Analyst with Telefilm Canada. Agnes also held the position of Head of Production for Country Music Television and was a production accountant and independent producer. As a consultant, Agnes worked with many organisations including PwC and the BC Economic Development Association.
