Mette-Ann Schepelern runs her own production company Magma film & tv working with development and financing of film- and tv media projects. Her focus is with developing strong and unique projects, and in creating new business and project initiatives mainly for kids and young people. Titles include ISABELLA FOR REAL, a documentary aiming at a young audience, 100% SURBURBIA a 10 episode television series and feature film for Cinema release for a young audience, MY AMERICA, a 6 episode series for tv and documentary film. In production in 2016 is LETS TALK - LOVE AND SEX (working title), an 3 part animated documentary web series for a young audience. Mette-Ann`s background is a combination of the academic world holding a Masters degree in Media and Film from University of Copenhagen as well as a creative diploma from the National Film School of Denmark. This combination is useful in collaboration between the academic world and other creative environments, and in order to further facilitate this she is about to finish a diploma in leadership. Furthermore Mette-Ann works internationally with experience from Asia and the Middle East, which has deepened her understanding of relations crossing culture and nationalities, and likewise when it comes to media projects she has experience with cultural exchange and capacity building for a young audience.
