Josien Buijs is Head of Marketing and Education at Filmhuis Den Haag: a film theater in the city centre of The Hague with a very diverse programme and a special focus on filmeducation. In 2015 Filmhuis Den Haag won the Europa Cinemas Award for best programming. Josien has a master's degree in marketing & communication and has been working in the film industry for 7 years. Together with her team, Josien has chosen a new approach to create a broader audience for children's and youth films. Since 2019, she has also been project manager for Beeldung: a hub for film education that aims to reach more students with quality film education.
