Nienke Poelsma joined Cinekid in 2015 from International Film Festival Rotterdam (IFFR) where she worked for CineMart, the established co-production market of the IFFR. She held the position of Coordinator CineMart & Rotterdam Lab, which made her oversee the selection, programme, the Rotterdam Lab, inancing, personnel and many other industry activities. Prior to IFFR she studied Film with minors in Film studies and Film and TV Production. Poelsma is Secretary of the Board at Roffa Mon Amour, a silent rooftop cinema festival in Rotterdam (NL) with a fine selection of outrageous, eccentric cinema, which takes place during summer in Rotterdam. She chaired many international juries and moderated many sessions at international industry events.
