Eva Novrup Redvall is Associate Professor in Film and Media Studies at the University of Copenhagen. Her research focuses on European ilm and television, particularly screenwriting and production. She is the author of several books and research articles, among them the monograph WRITING AND PRODUCING TELEVISION IN DRAMA. FROM THE KINGDOM TO THE KILLING (2013) and most recently the co-edited anthology EUROPEAN FILM AND TELEVISION CO-PRODUCTION: POLICY AND PRACTICE: with Julia Hammett-Jamart and Petar Mitric, 2019). She will be in charge of the 4-year research project REACHING YOUNG AUDIENCES: SERIAL FICTION AND CROSS-MEDIA STORYWORLDS FOR CHILDREN AND YOUNG AUDIENCES (funded by Independent Research Fund Denmark) from September 2019. Besides her academic work, she is a member of the board of The Danish Film Institute and has been a ilm critic for the daily newspaper INFORMATION since 1999.
