Children’s films are getting more and more relevant for the industry. In this context beneficial collaboration and proper networks are key to success while developing, producing and distributing children’s films within a difficult market environment. KIDS Regio Berlinale Meeting Point 2016 shedded light on special bonds and initiatives that might make the difference to foster projects and make them feasible.

Martin Richter (Germany), Martin Richter Filmproduktion, will illustrate development and production steps of his recent produced live-action feature AUF AUGENHÖHE (On Eye Level), developed within the framework of the German initiative "Outstanding Films for Children"
Kristine Knudsen(Germany), Knudsen & Steuber Medienmanufaktur GmbH, will layout important development and production steps as well as significant cooperation of her animation feature RICHARD THE STORK, script development at the Academy for Children’s Media
Margret Albers(Germany), she has been managing director of the Children's Media Foundation GOLDENER SPATZ and director of the German Children's Media Film Festival of the same name since 1996. In addition, she is the board spokeswoman of the Association for the Promotion of German Children's Film.
